23rd May 2021 – UpFront Engineering Simulation is pleased to introduce a new series of educational webinars in September 2021. These sessions centre around how UpFront and Real-Time CFD can be used to interactively drive the design process. During these 90 minute webinar sessions we will demonstrate Simerics-MP, Discovery and Flow RT in action on a variety of real-life design application: UpFront and Real-Time CFD
8th May 2021 – CFturbo is an interactive and user friendly Turbo-Machinery Design software package. During the webinar taking place on 7th July, 2021 attendees will be able to see how CFturbo can create completely new 3D geometries from scratch based on specified performance criteria as well as modifying existing designs. 10th February 2021 – Selwood Pumps hit the road running early in 2021. The decision was to implement a new set of engineering software tools. This was to assist within their Turbo-Machinery Design process, namely CFturbo and Simerics-MP. A full training and implementation plan was agreed with 80/20 Engineering and completed ahead of schedule.
2nd January 2021 – Simerics-MP+ (CFD) now has a range of new advanced functionality within its Marine Applications Template including:> Planing or Displacement Hull Types> Dynamics of Sway, Heave, Roll and Pitch> Propulsion Method Options, including explicit Propeller Modelling> Advanced Wave Modelling capabilities
